Can a dairy sensitivity amplify and/or make a gluten sensitivity more likely?

Yes. Dairy sensitivity may increase intestinal permeability (a.k.a. leaky gut). Leaky gut sets the stage for gluten/gliadin peptides to enter systemic circulation, triggering an immune response and promoting gluten sensitivity. In other words, dairy sensitivity may contribute to gluten sensitivity, and vice versa.
