How were reference ranges determined for Vibrant's Food Additives test?

The test results of antibody levels to FDA-approved antigen extracts were calculated by comparing the average intensity of the individual's antibodies to that of a healthy reference population. Reference ranges have been established for an adult population using 192 healthy individuals. The results are displayed as High Risk, Moderate or In Control.

  • A High Risk (Red) result indicates that you have an increased reactivity to the antigen with respect to the reference range.
  • A Moderate (Yellow) sensitive result indicates that you have a moderate reactivity to the food antigen with respect to the reference range.
  • A Negative or In Control (Green) result indicates that you have a low reactivity to the food antigen with respect to the reference range.
