When sensitive to white mushroom, can I eat other types of mushrooms?

It is not possible to determine sensitivity to other mushrooms based on reactivity to white mushroom. The white mushroom antigen (available on the Food Sensitivity Profile 1) is specific to Agaricus bisporus, commonly know as white button mushroom. The shiitake mushroom antigen (available on the Food Sensitivity Profile 2) is specific to Lentinula edodes. Other, untested mushrooms have completely different antigens. Therefore, sensitivity to other mushrooms is unknown.
