Does the Gut Zoomer provide insight on SIBO?

Yes. While a stool test is never determinate for SIBO (stool testing evaluates large bowel microorganism ecosystem and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is a manifestation in the small bowel), there are correlations between overabundance of certain colonic bacteria and SIBO. The Gut Microbiome and SIBO panel (within the Gut Zoomer) includes both hydrogen and methane producing bacteria.
