Clostridium is a genus of Gram-positive bacteria. This genus includes several significant human pathogens, including C. botulinum, C. tetani, C. perfringens, C. novyi, and C. septicum. The Gut Zoomer reports the whole genus status, as well as the Clostridium species associated with diarrhea, C. difficile Toxin A and Toxin B.
Is Clostridium dificile (associated with diarrhea) measured separately or are all Clostridium species grouped together?
