Is Clostridium dificile (associated with diarrhea) measured separately or are all Clostridium species grouped together?

Clostridium is a genus of Gram-positive bacteria. This genus includes several significant human pathogens, including C. botulinum, C. tetani, C. perfringens, C. novyi, and C. septicum.
