Can someone without a colon do the Gut Zoomer test?

Yes. People without a colon can do the Gut Zoomer test as long as they can collect stool (from rectum/anus or stoma). Please note, the small intestine contains lower levels of microbes than the colon/large intestine, so this could impact results. However, the Gut Zoomer can still provide information about inflammation, digestion, short chain fatty acid levels, and other markers.
