Will autoimmune medications impact Gut Zoomer results?

Yes. Most autoimmune medications have immunosuppressant and anti-inflammatory effects. Anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant medication may impact inflammatory markers (including calprotectin), secretory IgA, and anti-gliadin antibodies. However, these medications will not interfere with the accurate measurement of commensal or pathogenic organisms. Consult with your healthcare provider before stopping any medications or supplements.
