If Total Immunoglobulin levels are low or high, the provider may not want to test Tickborne as the results may be falsely lower or falsely higher. (2) Order Tickborne test with the free Total Immunoglobulins add-on. If Total Immunoglobulin levels are OK, then interpret Tickborne test results like normal. If Total Immunoglobulin levels are low or high, Tickborne results may be falsely lower or falsely higher and it may require be a more complicated interpretation. Keep in mind that Total Immunoglobulin levels can change over time.
