No. Provocation is not required for Vibrant's Total Tox Burden (including Heavy Metals, Mycotoxins, and Environmental Toxins) test. The patient and their healthcare provider may discuss whether provoked or non-provoked samples are best. It is up to the ordering provider’s clinical discretion whether to recommend a provoked test for their patient as well as the provoking agent, dose, and timing of provocation before testing.
