As of now, Vibrant is the only company using bead beating technology for Lyme PCR panel presence or absence testing. For Gut RT PCR markers, Vibrant uses a proprietary extraction process which includes mechanical (bead beating), thermal, and chemical lysis procedure for detection of all organisms.
