Food Sensitivity IgA/IgG and/or C3d/IgG4 testing provides insight to craft personalized anti-inflammatory eating patterns. The most conservative approach is to avoid all foods to which you are IgA, IgG, C3d and IgG4 sensitive. However, if IgG4 is moderate or positive with no other reactivity, the provider may eliminate or rotate the food at the provider's clinical discretion. To guide clinical decision-making, assess for known signs or symptoms upon exposure to food and frequency of consumption of food, and consider further workup of inflammatory, oxidative stress, and other immunological markers.
Can IgG4/C3D be used in place of the IgG/IgA test for elimination diets or is the IgG/IgA more accurate for elimination diets?
