How were reference ranges established for Gut Zoomer pathogens?

The reference range for Gut Zoomer pathogens is the limit of detection (LOD). The LOD is the lowest concentration of analyte in a sample that can be reliably detected. Vibrant defined the LOD for each microorganism tested. The LOD is expressed in terms of the CFU/ml or cells/ml or oocysts/ml as per the organism tested. For more information on Vibrant’s proprietary microarray hybridization technology, please see the published study in the peer-reviewed journal Gut Pathogens which describes the validation process and the unrivaled levels of accuracy achieved in pathogenic organism detection. https://gutpathogens.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13099-019-0329-2
