Vibrant's Gut Zoomer measures candida (DNA). If Candida is present in the stool, it will be reported on Gut Zoomer results.

Another test that provides insight on Candida overgrowth is Vibrant's Organic Acids test, which includes markers of fungal overgrowth. For example, high levels of urine ketones like 3-hydroxybutyric acid can be caused by severe GI Candida overgrowth and carboxycitric acid is a metabolite indicator of elevated yeast/fungal overgrowth in the GI tract.
