Vibrant's Nutrient Zoomer measures 3 forms of vitamin D:
- Vitamin D3, Serum
- Vitamin D3, White Blood Cell (WBC)
- Vitamine D, 25-OH, Serum
1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D is not offered. The research and development team may add this test in the future, however it is not currently in the development pipeline. As with all new tests, should 1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D be developed and released, client accounts will receive a promotional email.
Lastly, the Nutrient Genetics test offers testing for genetic variants for several forms of vitamin D, including 1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D. That way, if results are abnormal (heterozygous variant or homozygous variant) that would enable healthcare providers and patients to have a clinical suspicion for lifetime risk of 1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D deficiency
