The Mycotoxin test measures mycotoxins in nanograms per gram (ng/g) of creatinine.
The Mycotoxin test reference ranges are Green: 0-75th percentile, Yellow: 75th-95th percentile, Red: >95th percentile
In example, a satratoxin G result of 0.11 ng/g, means that 0.11 nanograms of satratoxin G were detected for every gram of creatinine measured. As the satratoxin G reference range is <0.18, a result of 0.11 is normal, and it falls into the 75th-95th percentile of the reference range. The reference range was established by testing 1,000 apparently healthy people in the Mycotoxin test validation study. So in this scenario, a satratoxin G result of 0.11 is higher than 75% of people tested in the validation study.
Parts per billion (ppb) refers to 1 drop in 1 billion gallons.
1 ppb = 1 ng/g
So, in the satratoxin G example, a result of 0.11 ng/g would be equivalent to 0.11 ppb.
