What are the strengths and limitations of Vibrant's Urine Hormone test?

Vibrant's Urine Hormones test accurately assesses endogenous hormone metabolites and troche/sublingually administered hormones. Urine testing cannot accurately assess results of oral or topical hormones as they are not reflective of tissue uptake, and may underestimate results of topically administered hormones and overestimate results of orally ingested hormones. Urine testing may overestimate results of pellet/intramuscular hormones. Urine testing is not recommended for assessing vaginal (or rectal) hormone administration as there is a high risk of contamination of the urine sample leading to overestimation of results.
