How do I return my test sample?

When your kit is delivered, you will receive an email and a card inside your test kit with instructions to return your kit. You can return your kit to a FedEx drop-off location or schedule a FedEx pickup. Each test kit includes a prepaid return envelope. After collection, ensure all tubes and bags are labeled with the patient’s name and date of birth, if not already printed. For best results, return the sample on the same day it is collected.

 

FedEx Drop-off Method

You can return your kit by taking the pre-labeled return envelope to any FedEx location. Please remove all kit contents from the box if you cannot find the return envelope.

How to Schedule a Pickup

To begin the pickup process, schedule a pickup online or call FedEx at 1(800)-463-3339 and say "Schedule a pickup" when prompted.

If you choose to call FedEx, you will be asked for the following information:

  • Tracking Number (Found on the return label)
  • Pickup Address
  • Pickup Date and Time

 

Scheduling Pickup Online

To begin the pickup process, visit the FedEx Pickup Request website.

Fill out the required fields.

Select Schedule a new pickup, then fill out the Pickup Date, Ready Time, and Latest Pickup Time. When finished, select Finalize.

 

Important Notes:

  • The FedEx Scheduled Pickup feature is only available in the U.S.
  • The package needs to have the Vibrant Return Label affixed to the package. If you do not have a return label, please contact support.
  • Be sure to return any test samples within 24 hours of collection.
