Which tests are recommended for cancer?

Please consider the following tests for cancer:

  • Total Tox Burden (Environmental, Heavy Metal, Mycotoxin) - many of the analytes tested on all 3 panels are known carcinogens and have been connected to a variety of cancers in humans, especially since the liver and kidneys are target organs of acute toxicity
  • Gut Zoomer - if toxicity is present, look into bile production that would help excrete heavy metals. Additionally, if beta-glucuronidase producing bacteria are reversing glucuronidation products from the liver, including estrogens, this may contribute to fibroids
  • Urinary or Saliva Hormones - assess current hormone levels of estrogen, melatonin, and adrenal indices
  • Organic Acids - a fantastic adjunct to the above as it will provide a comprehensive assessment of metabolism products including evaluation of intestinal microbial overgrowth, detoxificationmitochondrial markers, and glutathione status.
  • Wheat Zoomer+ Complete Food Sensitivity to help guide a personalized anti-inflammatory diet.

Foundational tests such as

  • Micronutrients - to assess micronutrient status as malnutrition is often a problem in patients with cancer
  • CMP / CBC Panels- assess blood markers
