Vibrant currently does not have established reference ranges for pregnancy for the Urinary or Saliva Hormone tests.
During pregnancy, hormones such as estrogen (with estriol being the predominant form), progesterone (saliva), and progesterone metabolites (urine), are often elevated. These elevated levels can indicate pregnancy.
While providers may order Vibrant's Urinary or Saliva Hormone tests for pregnant patients at their discretion, these tests have validated reference ranges for non-pregnant adults and reference ranges for pregnancy are not available. Results should be interpreted based on the provider’s clinical evaluation of hormonal changes in the pregnant patient.
