What changes were made?
A Food Personalization Summary has been added to the Food Sensitivity Report.
This table appears at the beginning of the Summary section, placed before moderate- and high-risk results.
Additionally, a Lectin Score has been added to the Integrated Peptide Score. While the Integrated Peptide Score shows the current result with a blue pin, the Lectin Score is indicated by a black triangle.
The Integrated Peptide Score appears at the end of the Summary section, after the individual food scores (and chemical scores, for Food Sensitivity Complete results).
Why were these changes made?
The Food Personalization Summary shows patients which foods are reactive—and which foods are not reactive. It helps guide patients in choosing what foods to eat—and what foods to avoid.
The Lectin Score indicates the patient’s reactivity to the lectin component of the food. Reactivity to the lectin component of a food may be higher, or lower, than the patient’s reactivity to the food itself. Therefore, it is helpful to display the Lectin Score in addition to the Current Result.
Do I need to take any action?
No action is required on your part. The updated report format will be automatically applied to all new Food Sensitivity reports.
