Can I test while pregnant?

It is recommended to test under normative conditions; however, if one is considering running the Hormone Zoomer during pregnancy, it’s important to know that they can still test, but the results should be interpreted carefully.

During pregnancy, hormone levels—especially estriol, progesterone, and their metabolites—naturally increase. However, the Hormone Zoomer does not include pregnancy-specific reference ranges, so some values may appear “out of range” even if they’re completely normal for pregnancy.

Because of this, the results may not reflect a true hormonal imbalance—just the normal shifts that happen during pregnancy. If testing is done during this time, the ordering provider should review the results with these expected changes in mind.
