*Please note the Grain Zoomer Interpretation of Report on page 2 of the report.
The Grain Zoomer Summary Score for each grain combines how strongly your immune system reacts (IgA and IgG antibodies) to different grain-related proteins..
Some antibodies (IgA) are given more importance than others (IgG) because they are more closely linked with active immune responses in the gut.
Each grain peptide is also given a different “weight” in the calculation, depending on how abundant that peptide is in the grain.
Even if your test results for certain antibodies are within the normal range (that is, “in control”), the report still looks at the actual antibody numbers (called titer values) when calculating your total summary score.
Because of that, the summary score cannot be calculated directly by averaging or adding the IgA and IgG results shown in the detailed section, as it’s a weighted composite that reflects the overall pattern of immune reactivity across multiple antigens for each grain.
This helps create a more complete picture of your body’s immune activity to grains, rather than just flagging positive or abnormal results.
