Role designations give users different abilities within the Vibrant Wellness Portal. There are Practice Admins and Provider Roles. User role designation can be viewed in the Profile Control Panel.
Users can have both Practice Admin permission and Provider permission. A Practice Admin, without Provider permission, will not be able to place orders for themselves or others. The first Practice Admin will automatically have both Practice Admin and Provider permission.
1. Practice Admin
The first account created for any practice will be a Practice Admin and Provider by default. Multiple Practice Admins may be assigned by the first Practice Admin. Practice Admin accounts can manage orders on behalf of all providers, see all providers' patient information, add/ remove providers from the practice, and update practice wide preferences/settings such as address, defaults, notifications, favorites, and more in the Settings & Preferences Page. Practice Admins must also have provider permission to be allowed to place orders for themselves and others.
These users can set both Personal Settings and Practice Settings.
The "Apply to every provider?" toggle will override settings at the personal level of a specific section for all providers in the practice. If this toggle is switched off, providers may opt-in to the practice setting using the toggle in their personal settings. If there are no Practice Admins in your practice, please contact support.
2. Provider accounts
Provider accounts allow a singular provider to view and manage only their own patients and personal preferences/ settings if a practice admin has not applied default settings to all providers. Providers may opt-in to using practice level settings by section. A user must have provider permission to place orders.
