No, Vibrant does not use Western blot or ELISA technology.
Most Lyme testing uses either indirect testing (ELISA, Western Blot, ImmunoBlot, Immunochip) OR direct testing (Traditional PCR, Chip-based Multiplex PCR).
But Vibrant uses both indirect AND direct testing. Why?
Combining Immunochip direct testing with Multiplex Chip PCR allows our Tickborne Diseases Panel to detect the maximum number of Borrelia species and co-infections across multiple antigen types.
